MEMBERS OBLIGATIONS
RULES OF CONDUCT:
General Rules:
 | All persons using the club facilities do so at their own risk |
 | Members and guests will drive slowly on club roads and in the parking
area. They will obey all regulatory parking signs |
 | Motor vehicles will be parked as per designated patters in areas allowed.
Strictly enforced |
 | NO domestic animals allowed |
 | Members using profane language will be subject to disciplinary action |
 | The pool manager and assistants have been given the authority to control
the conduct of members and guests, and if necessary in their judgement, to
require anyone to leave the club grounds when such person(s) is jeopardizing
the safety and/or enjoyment of others |
 | Lifeguards shall have the full authority to control the conduct of members
and guests while performing their assigned duties |
 | The Association is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal
property |
 | Lost and found articles should be reported to the Manager’s Office |
 | NO rollerskating, rollerblading, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, etc.

 | In case of thunder and/or lightening the pools and decks are to be
evacuated immediately. At Manager’s discretion grounds may be temporarily
closed |
 | In case of threatening weather (high winds, etc.) The grounds may be
temporarily closed at Manager’s discretion
Running, pushing, wrestling, ballplaying or causing undue disturbance in the
pool area is prohibited |
 | NO lounges, chairs, carriages, or other such articles are permitted on the
pool deck
NO food, drink, or glass containers, are allowed in the pool area(s) |
 | Gum is prohibited in the pool area(s) |
 | NO articles of any kind are to be hung on the fences surrounding the
pool(s) or spread on the pool deck(s) |
 | NO loitering or smoking is allowed in the rest rooms |
MAIN POOL RULES:
 | No air inflated tubes, water wings, jackets, masks (covering the nose and
mouth), toys, flippers, swim boards, or other paraphernalia shall be allowed
in the Main Pool, except kick boards may be used in the lap lane when swimming
laps |
 | The diving area is restricted to persons who are capable of passing the
“DEEP WATER TEST” to the lifeguards satisfaction |
 | The diving area is limited to diving from the boards, using the slide, and
exiting the pool |
 | There is to be only ONE person at a time on a diving board or slide. The
next person must wait on the deck |
 | Only one ounce on the diving board is permitted. A swimmer must go
straight off the end of the diving board into the water in a reasonable time |
 | Sitting or handstands on the diving boards are not permitted |
 | The area in the water in front of the slide, and diving boards, are to be
kept clear. Persons using these should exit the water soon after completing
their dive, or slide |
 | Only swimmers swimming laps are allowed in the lap lanes. No one is to cut
through these lanes |
 | The starting blocks are NOT for general use. No diving off, or sitting on,
is permitted |
 | Do not hang on, or pull on the ropes or buoys |
 | Eye goggles are prohibited in the diving area, or on the slides |
 | Loitering at pool ladders or in the immediate area is prohibited |
 | NON-swimming children MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water |
KIDDIE POOL RULES:
 | All children five years old and under in the kiddie pool MUST BE
ACCOMPANIED by a parent or guardian over 14 years of age, who MUST remain with
the child while they are in the pool area. No children over the age of five
are allowed in the kiddie pool |
 | Small, soft, rubber or plastic toys only shall be allowed in the kiddie
pool. NO smoking, or food in the kiddie pool area |
HEALTH & SAFETY:
 | All swimmers must shower before entering the pool |
 | Only shoes that are used in the shower will be allowed on the pool deck |
 | Childen who are not toilet trained MUST wear diapers in the main pool and
kiddie pool under bathing suits |
 | No only with colds, coughs, inflamed eyes, infections, or wearing band
aids will be permitted to enter the pool |
 | Expectoration and blowing nose in the pool is prohibited |
 | Only bathing suits are to be worn in the pool, NO cut offs |
 | All refuse shall be deposed in the containers provided |
 | Changing of clothing and diapers is to be done in the changing room.
Diapers are to be disposed of in the containers in the bathrooms ONLY |
 | Please REFRAIN from changing toddlers outside of rest rooms and in open
areas |
 | Parental or guardian supervision is required for toddlers in the
playground area |
PICNIC RULES:
 | The Association is not responsible for personal property left on the
tables |
 | Tables are to be cleared of all personal property daily before closing |
 | Any personal property left on the tables will be removed by the management
at 11:00 a.m. if no one appears to be using the table |
 | Personal property must not be attached to the tables, trees, or other
structures in the picnic areas |
 | Rearrangement of picnic tables is prohibited except when authorized by the
manager for a specific event |
 | Electric outlets are proved for maintenance staff use only |
GUESTS:
 | All guests must be entered in the guest book at the gatehouse |
 | All guests must be accompanied by a member |
 | A guest must comply with all rules and regulations of the Association and
is the responsibility of the host member |
 | Admission of a group of more than six guests at one time must be approved
by the pool manager at least 48 hours in advance of the day of the visit |
 | Guest fees will be posted at the gatehouse |
